    OBJECTIVES

                           1.    To develop / identify improved genotypes of horticultural and agro-forestry crops suitable for growing in eastern India.

                           2.     TO standardize package of practices of different horticultural and agro-forestry crops.

                           3.     To produce improved planting material and seed of different horticultural crops.    

                           4.    To function as information warehouse of horticulture and agro-forestry for the eastern region.
